☺Staff was awesome and location perfect. We were at a room in the back so it was quiet. Hairdryer is a great bonus.

I’ve been pretty happy with the residence so far. Some problems are to be expected in a newly opened place—it would be unrealistic to expect everything to run perfectly straight away. The rooms are lovely and well thought out, and I’m very happy with mine. I know some residents are still having issues with hot and cold water or heating, and some apparently moved into rooms that weren’t properly cleaned, but I haven’t personally experienced any of these.

I arrived unannounced before my booking started, and Michał came in to sort things out despite it being late on a Saturday. One of our kitchen cupboard doors was missing when we moved in; I emailed that night, and they fitted it first thing the next morning. From my experience, they really do try to help and fix what they can.

Other things will take time, which is understandable. Workers are working around the clock to finish the building, and I’m hopeful the construction noise, heating and water issues will be sorted soon. I think we should give it a little time before making a final judgment.

That said, having lived at another well-known student residence for a year, there are things here that I feel are lacking.
One shared kitchen isn’t enough for 13 floors, the social spaces are limited, and there aren’t regular weekly or monthly events like we had at my previous residence. A team of residents assigned to help after office hours could also be useful, because dealing with urgent issues through security is difficult when they don’t speak English and can be aggressive.

The laundry room is honestly a disaster. Seven washers and seven dryers aren’t enough for 13 floors, and the space is so small that even two people struggle to do laundry at the same time. It’s expensive, we have to provide our own detergent, and there’s no equipment to clean the dryer filters. A bigger, better-planned laundry room is probably the most urgent improvement needed.
They also don’t accept parcels for residents. At my old residence, security would take deliveries and we’d get an email that day letting us know our parcel had arrived. Having that here would make a big difference.

There is everything even in the small studio rooms: bathroom, kitchenette (excluding dishwasher), a small heating plate for cooking, a refrigerator, even a microwave oven. Everything is clean. Wi-fi is free but laundry is not.
