I lived in Milestone for 6 months and I would say that you shouldn't be afraid of the bad rating, if you're looking for an easy and fast solution for accommodation, this place is a good choice. I found a room here two days after I moved to Bonn, and it was lucky for me, the staff was very friendly and helped me transitioning as soon as possible. The location is good as it is well connected with the city, but still you don't feel like living in Bonn, however, Beuel is nice and with many groceries and restaurants. Room equipment was okay compared to similar places I've lived in, and since there is also the gym I would say the price is okay, maybe, just a bit overpriced. Fortunately, I didn't have any bad experience with mold, but if you stay like me in the side in front of the railway, you're going to hear the noise of the works very often and, sometimes, during the night. I think they will be over with the works pretty soon, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. The only thing I was very disappointed is that waste collection isn't made differentiating items, I'm not from Bonn, so I don't know how it works there, but probably not in the proper way.. I was lucky enough not to encouter many issues, but the house manager was always responsive and supportive when a problem arises (shoutout to Andreas and Ilknur). Firstly, the it can be hard to sleep due to the distance to train railway. But when the windows are closed it doesn’t disturb you. This summer was very hot, so no wonder that it was also hot in the room. The Gym is OK. Enough for doing all type of exercises you may want to do.
