I just moved in, so this review may be a bit premature but so far, so good. There is everything even in the small studio rooms: bathroom, kitchenette (excluding dishwasher), a small heating plate for cooking, a refrigerator, even a microwave oven. Everything is clean. Wi-fi is free but laundry is not.
Crucially, I needed to stay for only about 3 months and even though they do not usually allow such a short stay (almost noone in Gdansk does), they made an exception for me. My only regret is that I did not know about this place when I came to Gdansk for the first time.

Pros:
Great location with WU and Billa store right nearby. The management regularly organizes free events and activities for residents, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are modern, nice, and very comfortable to live in.
Cons:
The rent feels a bit overpriced, and the rooms get uncomfortably hot during the summer. My main concern, however, is rule enforcement. Residents who respect noise levels and community guidelines deserve a quiet environment. Unfortunately, complaints about late-night partying, stomping, laughing, and window smoking are often met with repeated warnings that yield no real results. An excellent student residence that meets all the essential needs not only of students, but also of working people who have moved here from abroad.

The resident manager is extremely helpful and warm-hearted—practically a second mother. The residence offers all the necessary facilities: a laundry room, a free gym with exercise equipment, underground parking, a billiards room, rooms for meetings and studying for exams, a music room for rehearsals, a cinema and entertainment room for watching films and sporting events and playing video games, and even a party room for organizing celebrations. There is also a communal kitchen where residents can exchange culinary traditions and cultural experiences.

The residence organizes lovely events for its residents, such as barbecue days, Christmas and Easter celebrations, workshops on making the famous Linzer cakes, and much more.

Any problems that arise are usually resolved quite quickly. On one occasion, we even collectively managed to get rid of a colony of pharaoh ants—which, from an entomological perspective, is not such a trivial task.

The rent becomes cheaper over time, depending on how long the contract is extended.

The internet is fairly stable and comes with a dedicated connection. This means that if you are not feeling well, you can attend a lecture or seminar via Zoom from home. There is a school nearby, so it can be noisy in the morning. However, Austria is generally a country where most people sleep at night and work during the day. Earplugs from dm and closed shutters solve the problems of noise and bright morning light. At night, loud parties are quickly brought to an end by persistent yet polite feedback from the residents.

The enormous windows provide a beautiful view and plenty of natural light—especially valuable for people who have come from places where vitamin D is in short supply. Community groups organize hikes, trips to festivals, and visits to sporting events. Residents also play volleyball and chess.

Most residents are friendly, helpful, and willing to lend a hand—for example, by lending a screwdriver, sharing a printer, providing a plunger at 2 a.m., helping repair a bicycle, or lending a cake tin.

In spring, the blackbirds living nearby sing wonderfully otherworldly melodies at night, and entire families of hares often visit the residence to nibble on the grass.

The mail service works like clockwork. The residence welcomes people of all nationalities, LGBTQ+ residents, and people with disabilities.
